25 Million Students Participated, Now It's Time for the Grand Finale: Environmental Fest Excitement in Schools!

The "Green Homeland, My School, Solution for the Future" project, run by the Ministry of National Education, is preparing for a massive finale after achieving remarkable records in the past 10 months. "Green Homeland: EnvironmentFest'26," which will begin simultaneously across Turkey in June, will be a proud showcase of the year's work, ranging from seeds to forests, from zero waste to ecological farming. Throughout the year, a veritable environmental mobilization took place in all K-12 schools. The project, conducted under 9 different main themes and featuring over 100,000 activities, has yielded remarkable net participation data:

Students who planted saplings, participated in climate debates, and designed future technologies in sustainable design marathons throughout the academic year will showcase their projects at the festival in June. With the participation of families, ÇevreFest'26, which will be held in a festive atmosphere, will reinforce children's awareness of local production and disaster resilience, while turning the month of June into an environmental celebration throughout Türkiye.
